Summer Ready (I Guess)

Haven't posted in a while...
Not much is new, yesterday was the last day of pre-camp and tonight I am going to Ottawa!! Ottawa is awesome. :)
My legs are freshly waxed and despite a few cuts (cement+flip-flops=EVIL!) I am ready for shorts/skirs/dresses. I don't have many sun dresses but I like the ones I do because they are so simple and look good. Mine aren't bright pink, don't worry. :-p
OH! I DISCOVERED HOW TO MAKE FACES ON THE CALCULATOR!!!! haha I am such a gee.

Wishing it was winter.

Why am I wishing it was winter?
Because winter is awesome.

Seriously, you can't be cozy in summer like you can in the winter.

I want to sit in my PJs sipping tea, eating cookies, reading and listening to Paramore. I wish it were stormy outside and that my living room blinds would be open. I want to feel warm the way you can only feel in December.

I can do some of that now, I guess I will. It won't be the same though.

Cheers!

Me. :)
As usual, I am up at 8:00 AM, way too early for a teenager to be up on the weekend.
This weekend is supposed to be a "Study weekend" as I have four exams next week (I theoretically only need to study for two though as you can't study for reading comprehension). I am going to try to convince my mom to take me shopping for a CD (Paramore's first one, "All We Know Is Falling") and to buy some books. I am almost finished "Inkheart"! What will I do without my school library for two months?????
I am trying to live like nothing is wrong, I have everyone where I want them. As Paramore says in "Never Gonna Let This Go":

"I wonder when you'll stop saying
that everything is all right
and by then I'll still be pretending,
just Like I am tonight."

I may blog later today but this is all for now!

lalalala no title

So, remember what I said about liking Mondays? I jinxed it. My day seriously sucked yesterday.
Too. Much. Drama.
I may have lost one of my friends, I hope not!!!! :(
There are three more days of classes left before summer vacation and next week we have four exams. For some reason, I find exam week much less stressful than the last week of school...
Today Holiday committee had our end of year party! We ate food, drank coke, watched a slideshow and some of us got awards. Was one of those people me? Surprisingly, YES! My guy friend in grade 9 also got one but sadly, my good friend EDG who is also on the committee didn't get one. Oh well, the whole year was awesome.

Typo in the URL!

I just noticed a typo in the URL. It should be "Never forget the music".
It looks a little like f*ggot, so I hope I didn't offend anyone!
Sorry!

Last day of the weekend.

I have never liked Sundays. Ever.
You know how people always complain about Mondays? Well I like Mondays because of Drum line. Sundays, on the other hand..
There are five days left of school but I really wish we had more. I could benefit from more study time and I hate how it suddenly is a rush. No matter how prepared one is, they never anticipate how fast it really gets. You wake up and say "Holy crap, five days of school!" even though you have been numbering the days left in your little agenda.
This year I enjoyed more than last year. Last year I was a mega-mess but this year I am not so bad. Grade eight had bad moments (like drama, but we are teenage girls, what do you expect?) and there are still dark thoughts, but I have gotten way better at shoving them away. Never too late to do some re-wiring. I agree with the random person on the bus: grade 8 is better than grade 7. For sure.
There are about 12 hours left of the weekend, think I will go enjoy it while it lasts.
